Project context
Wooden Wall Panel UK is an ecommerce website in the wall-panel product category in the United Kingdom. I worked on the project from October 2025 to January 2026, responsible for off-page SEO and digital PR.
SEO challenge
The measured starting point was very low: no recorded organic traffic or ranking keywords, 9 referring domains, 18 total backlinks and an Authority Score of 2. Visibility in the UK wall-panel category had to be built from that base.
Objectives
- Build authority signals through off-page activity
- Support topical authority and organic search visibility in the wall-panel category
- Grow UK organic traffic and ranking keywords
Strategy
- Combine digital PR, guest posting and content syndication to earn referring domains, rather than relying on a single tactic
- Add profile creation alongside the campaigns
- Keep authority building focused on the wall-panel product category to support topical authority
Execution
- Ran digital PR, guest posting, content syndication and profile creation campaigns
- Ran wider authority-building campaigns across the period
- Recorded referring domains, total backlinks, Authority Score and weekly Google Search Console impressions and clicks
Results
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Organic traffic (UK) | 0 | 1,117 |

| Weekly Search Console impressions | 1.22K | 126.2K |
| Weekly Search Console clicks | 3 | 1,374 |
| Authority Score | 2 | 19 |
My contribution
What I did
- Planned and carried out the digital PR, guest posting, content syndication and profile creation work
- Owned the off-page and authority-building workstream for the project
Shared and site-level
Organic traffic, ranking keywords and Search Console figures are site-level outcomes recorded during the project. My off-page work applies most directly to the referring-domain, backlink and Authority Score movement.
Tools used
Core tools for this kind of work in my toolkit:
Key SEO insights
- Referring domains rose from 9 to 125 while weekly impressions rose from 1.22K to 126.2K in the same period. The two moved together; this shows association over the period, not isolated causation.
- Four tactics ran side by side (digital PR, guest posting, syndication and profile creation) instead of a single link-building channel.
